Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Hoopwith’em, we are committed to delivering high-quality basketball training experiences through our 1-on-1 sessions, group programs, and camps. To ensure fairness, professionalism, and smooth operations, please read and adhere to the following cancellation and refund policies.
1-on-1 Training Sessions
Bookings & Payments
All 1-on-1 sessions must be scheduled in advance and are only confirmed once payment is received. Sessions are typically 60 minutes in duration unless otherwise arranged.
New clients are required to pay a $50 deposit, which is held and applied to the final session payment.
The standard rate is $80 per session (minimum of 3 sessions). One-off sessions are charged at $110.
Cancellations by Clients
- To avoid forfeiting your deposit, you must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice are eligible for refund or reschedule.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable, and the $50 deposit will be forfeited.
- A new $50 deposit will be required to secure future sessions after a late cancellation.
- No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will result in forfeiture of the session without refund or reschedule.
Stopping Ongoing Sessions
- If you wish to stop weekly sessions, you must provide a minimum of one week's notice.
- Any unused prepaid sessions may be eligible for a refund in accordance with the terms below.
Cancellations by Hoopwith’em
In the event that Hoopwith’em must cancel or postpone a session due to unforeseen circumstances such as venue issues, scheduling conflicts, or weather conditions, clients will be offered:
Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days of confirmation.
Session Time Requests & Holds
Due to high demand and limited availability, we are unable to hold or reserve session times without an active booking.
If a client is unable to attend sessions for any period of time, their time slot may be offered to other athletes. Returning clients are welcome to rebook based on current availability.
We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to accommodate all athletes fairly.
1-on-1 Session Deposit Policy
A $50 deposit is required to secure all 1-on-1 coaching sessions. This deposit goes toward your session fee and confirms your booking.
Cancellations or Reschedules:
More than 24 Hours notice: Eligible for full refund or reschedule.
Less than 24 hours notice: Deposit is forfeited. A new deposit is required to rebook.
No-shows: Deposit is forfeited. Full session fee may still apply.
Inactivity or Pause in Sessions:
If you pause sessions for longer than 3 weeks without rescheduling or communication, your deposit will be considered forfeited.
We’ll always try to reach out before this happens — but holding spots long-term impacts scheduling for other athletes.
Coach Preferences or Scheduling Conflicts:
Deposits are non-refundable if you decline available coaches or session times offered.
We’ll do our best to find a match, but please understand deposits cover admin time, scheduling, and coach availability.
Credit Option:
We understand life happens. In special cases (e.g. injury, family emergency), we may offer to hold your deposit as credit toward a future session or program. This is reviewed case by case.
Camps & Group Sessions
At Hoopwith’em, we work hard to deliver valuable and fun basketball camps and group sessions for players of all ages and skill levels. To help us run these smoothly and fairly, please read and follow the policy below:
Bookings & Payments
All camps and group sessions must be prepaid to secure your spot. Spaces are limited and early booking is strongly encouraged.
Cancellations by Clients
- more than 3 days prior to the start date are eligible for a full refund or full credit (valid for 6 months).
- within 3 days of the event are not eligible for a refund but will receive full credit (valid for 6 months).
- No Shows will not receive any refund or credit.
Cancellations by Hoopwith’em
If Hoopwith’em cancels a session or camp due to low registration, weather disruptions, or venue-related issues, clients will receive:
- A full refund, or
- A credit toward a future session or event, based on client preference.
Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days of confirmation.

Cancellations are only confirmed once a reply has been received from Hoopwith’em.
Policy Updates
Hoopwith’em reserves the right to update or amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time in response to operational requirements. The most current version of the policy will always be available on the Hoopwith’em website.
Voluntary Assumption of Risk
I have voluntarily chosen to participle in the program and am aware that there are significant risks involved in all aspects of basketball training and competition. These risks include, but are not limited to: falls which can result in serious injury or death, injury or death due to negligence on the part of myself, or other people around me, injury or death due to improper use or failure of equipment. I am aware that any of these above mentioned risks may result in serious injury or death to me.
I am aware of the respiratory illness COVID-19 and acknowledge that by attending any program conducted by Hoopwith’em there is a risk of contracting COVID-19 and I understand this risk and I assume all risks and responsibilities surrounding myself or my child's participation in the program. I willingly assume full responsibility for the risks that I am exposing myself or my child to and accept full responsibility for any illness, injury or death that may result from participation in or attendance at Hoopwith’em programs. I confirm that I have no physical impairments or illnesses that will endanger myself or others.
Waiver, Release and Indemnity
I agree to WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may have in the future against Hoopwith’em, and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and independent contractors (all of whom are hereinafter collectively referred to as “HWE”). I agree to RELEASE HWE from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer as a result of my participation in the Training Sessions or Competition, due to any cause whatsoever including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care. I agree to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY HWE from any and all liability for any damage to the property of, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from my participation in the Training Sessions or Competition.
Medical Assistance
I understand that should I become ill or suffer an injury I am to stop the activity and inform a coach. I give Hoopwith’em and its staff and volunteers permission to seek emergency medical and/or ambulance services for me should I become injured or ill with the understanding that I am responsible for any expenses incurred.
Media
I agree to allow Hoopwith’em, its officers, employees and volunteers to use picture(s), film and/or likenesses of me for use on its website and other promotional and educational materials without compensation to me. By registering on our site, you agree that we may send you emails related to our programs and upcoming events. We will not provide your details to any other company.
